Location
We are on “Agia Triada” beach in Paleokastritsa, Corfu island. Paleokastritsa is the most picturesque resort of Corfu and is famous for the dramatic scenery, the numerous caves and isolated beaches along its coast, as well as the popular attractions of Aggelocastro and Monastery. Paleokastritsa is situated along the northwest coast of the island, 24 km away from Corfu town. You will find us opposite Akrotiri Beach hotel, on the right side of “Agia Triada” beach, which is the first of the five main bays of Paleokastritsa.
The beach
Agia Triada beach (means Holy Trinity in Greek) is a mixture of sand and pebbles and offers a pleasant environment for sunbathing and swimming. Although it is only few meters away from the main street going across Paleokastritsa, the beach is hidden away by the olive trees and the sloped terrain. As a result, it is a peaceful place away from the street noise. “Agia Triada” is an organised public beach. The showers and the changing cabins on the beach are public amenities and free of charge. There are also sun-beds and umbrellas to rent, boat hire, water-sports and the scuba-diving school.
